Network Infrastructure
Synapsecom operates a resilient IP/MPLS backbone across multiple Points of Presence (PoPs) and data centers in Greece and the wider region. Our infrastructure is designed for high-availability, diversity and low-latency connectivity.
PoPs and Coverage
- SNC1 — Thessaloniki area
- SNC2 — West Attica / Athens area
- TIS — Athens area
- BG — Thessaloniki area (regional)
- TP — Sofia area (Bulgaria)
We operate dark-fibre rings in the two major metropolitan areas, and maintain multiple upstream and peering relationships to ensure resilience.
Backbone & Transport
- IP/MPLS backbone across PoPs with leased circuits for diverse paths
- MPLS L2 services for carrier-grade connectivity
- Dark fibre interconnects in metropolitan areas for low-latency transport
Routing & Addressing
- AS8280 is Synapsecom’s Autonomous System for BGP routing
- We support Provider Aggregatable (PA) and Provider Independent (PI) addressing depending on the service
